6.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

A hands-on exploration of project management methodologies and best practices designed to demonstrate how to manage and deliver projects in uncertain, volatile, ambiguous, quickly evolving contexts, or any context in which agile methods could be suitable.

 

Supplementary Information

39 hours in-class instruction, 21 hours for assignments/readings.

Course may be offered in person or online with synchronous and asynchronous activities.

Learning Outcomes

The course is designed to enable you to:

  • Apply best-practiced Agile frameworks and practices
  • Articulate established Agile concepts, manifesto, principles, processes, events, artifacts, roles, and responsibilities
  • Plan and prioritize using adaptive, relative, iterative, and time-boxed Agile estimating tools and techniques
  • Mitigate project risk through organic/overt Agile team practices and risk-adjusted problem resolution techniques
  • Manage and deliver innovative projects leveraging Agile team communication, collaboration, and coaching
  • Improve project performance via effective Agile meetings, reviews, and retrospectives

A minimum number of registrations is required for this course section to be offered. The School reserves the right to cancel any course section when a minimum number of registrations has not been reached prior to the start date. In the event of a cancellation, the course fee will be refunded in full.

  • Any time prior to the 1st class: Course Drop Period with Full Refund.
  • After the 1st and before the 2nd class: Course Withdrawal Period with Full Refund.
