Today, the security of cloud applications in various domains is crucial. DevSecOps takes a security-first approach by integrating security into the early stages of application development. This final module of the eight-module micro-credential program aims to address various cloud applications in specific industries, as well as regulatory compliance and secure deployment of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

This module is the last one of the 8 modules forming part of the Micro-credential in Cloud Security.
Completion of optional introductory Modules 1 & 2 grants a
Cloud Security Fundamentals Digital Badge
Completion of core Modules 3-6 grants a micro-credential and a
Cloud Security Practitioner Digital Badge
Completion of core Modules 3-6 and specialization Modules 7-8 focusing on specific technologies and industry sectors grants a
Cloud Security Expert Digital Badge and an Attestation of Completion.
Professionals without prior experience in IT, must complete all 8 modules in order to obtain the Cloud Security Expert Digital Badge and Attestation of Completion from McGill University’s School of Continuing Studies.

Prerequisite(s) and Corequisite(s)

For participants without prior experience or education background in IT, it is strongly recommended to complete Modules 1 & 2.
