The Intuit® QuickBooks Online (QBO) is one of the leading accounting software used by bookkeepers, accountants and business owners. This course is the first step in understanding the core functionalities of QBO and learning related best practices in accounting, thus providing students with knowledge necessary to assist companies with solid internal control, reliable data for business analysis, streamlined government reporting and better overall business practices. The course is aligned with Certiport’s certification exam objectives and aims to prepare participants to take the Intuit® QuickBooks Certified User (QBCU) exam offered by Certiport.

Notes

System requirements
Windows PC: Windows 10, Intel Core i5 or comparable processor (2015 or newer) with at least 4 GB of RAM.
Mac: OS X "High Sierra" 10.13 or newer.
Internet connection: 3 Mbps or higher.

Certification Exam Information
Certification exams are delivered in-person at the School of Continuing Studies at scheduled times.

Prerequisite(s) and Corequisite(s)

Understanding of accounting fundamentals and familiarity with Canadian accounting standards.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellation & substitution requests must be made in writing to pce.scs@mcgill.ca.

  • Receive a full refund if your cancellation request is received up to 7 days prior to the start date of the workshop.
  • Receive a refund minus $50 cancellation fee if your cancellation request is received up to 7 days prior to the start date of the workshop.
  • No Refunds are issued if your cancellation request is received within 7 days of the start date of the workshop, however suitable participation substitution will be permitted.

Please note that if no notice is given prior to the start of the event(s) and you fail to attend, you will be liable for the full workshop fee.
