Description

Food and farming are crucially important in human history and have enormous social, commercial, political and cultural significance. Based on archaeology, history, science, or economics, this study group will look at some of these issues. We may talk about hunter-gatherer diets, the agricultural revolution, fermenting food, dairy farming, single crops like maize, or anything in between that we find interesting. The moderators will give some of the presentations, but additional presentations by participants are strongly encouraged.
