Description

Despite having often been treated in the past as the “weaker sex”, there have been notable exceptions of women having played significant political roles: Cleopatra and Elizabeth the First, among others, come to mind. Similarly, in the past century, several women have made their mark: Margaret (the Hun) Thatcher, Eleanor Roosevelt, etc. Do women have innate qualities which make them more apt to govern well? In this study group, participants will be invited to make a short presentation (20-30 minutes) on women of their choice. Discussion will be encouraged.
