Description

The practices of reusing, repairing, remanufacturing, recycling and composting, are the building blocks of a circular economy that promises to greatly reduce our waste. Both Montreal and Quebec have set dates to meet the objective of zero-waste. This study group will consider this question. The province, through RECYC-QUÉBEC, actively promotes eco-design and circular practices. The study group will review the 2024 reports entitled The Circularity Gap from Quebec and Montreal. In Quebec, there are many companies actively pursuing circular economy initiatives, and one visit to such a company is planned for the study group.
