Description

Agriculture provides food for humans and domestic animals, fibres to make clothes, ropes and nets, and biofuels to power machinery. We will examine agriculture from the land to the landfill (or compost heap) asking what are the roles of private citizens, corporations and governments? How much production is used locally, nationally and internationally? Participants are expected to give presentations, and the moderator will suggest a variety of formats and topics.
