Undergraduate Dental Medicine Education - French Language Testing offered by McGill's School of Continuing Studies.

Test results are used to evaluate a student’s current level of language proficiency and are also provided to the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences*. Note that students may only take the test once per year and results are only valid for 6 months.

*We would like to remind test-takers that all applicants to the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences are subject to the Faculty Code of Conduct (Hyperlink to https://www.mcgill.ca/dentistry/academicaffairs/policiesandprocedures), which includes academic integrity.

While Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences students are not required to register for any subsequent School of Continuing Studies' language courses, they are welcome to do so should they wish to improve their level of French.

Topics Covered

The test takes 90 mins to complete and consists of four sections: Listening comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary and Reading Comprehension.

Learning Outcomes

Your test result will be ready 10 business days following the end of the placement test period. Follow instructions provided in the receipt note on how to retrieve your test result.
