Description

Join us to study: how the written word evolved; the development of English; changes in meaning; the impact of dictionaries, copyright, censorship, propaganda, power shifts in society, technology, literacy and other factors. We will examine not just “what” happened but also the “why” and “how” and the impact on society. Members in this study group commit to making a presentation. Suggestions for topics and a book list will be available upon registration.
