Description

These lectures follow the political and cultural history of the years between 1917 and 1953, when Stalin was partially and fully in power. We begin with the period between 1879 and 1917, describing the period when Stalin was young. The tumultuous history of the Soviet Union during 1917 and 1953 (the famines, the purges, the war, the creation of anti-Zionism) will be complemented with the musical, artistic, literary and scientific achievements.
