Description

This course is designed for professionals with a very good knowledge of French. It aims to help learners acquire and develop INTERMEDIATE LEVEL comprehension and expression skills in spoken French. The course includes a systematic study of vocabulary, speech acts, grammatical structures and the French phonetic system corresponding to this level. Activities will be organized and presented around themes linked to real-life professional situations.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Talk about their personality
  • Give their impressions and perceptions (of a situation, a person, etc.)

  • Explain certain aspects of a culture: ways of doing things, protocols, behaviors, beliefs, etc.
  • Write personal and professional communications
  • Maintain routine conversations of a personal and professional nature

A series of six weekly 1.5 h courses will be held on Thursday from 12:30PM to 2:00PM.
Additional 30min speaking practice per week in small discussion groups - schedule to be confirmed during the week 1 of the course.
Courses will be taught virtually (live online).
