Description

In partnership with the Academy of Lifelong Learning in Toronto (ALLTO), we will focus on the distinctive characteristics of Montreal and Toronto, contemporary or throughout their history. Participants will explore topics such as arts and culture, entertainment, community movers and shakers, iconic architecture or business through presentations and group discussions. We also plan to hold moderator-led discussions on the influence of sociocultural challenges and emerging trends on the identity of our respective metropolises, over the next fifty years. Possible influencers are immigration, multiculturalism, minority rights. technological innovation such as AI and the social condition.
