An introductory journey into the art of creative writing, exploring ideas about the nature of creativity; the general disciplines that every writer needs; elements of fiction, including voice, narrative, character, plot and the evoking of emotion; ideas involved in different forms of writing, such as stories, poetry, novels, plays and even memoir, with exercises on how to achieve work that will engage the reader from the start and compel them forward to the end.
