Description

The study group will take an eclectic look at several specific food items that changed the way we live. We will look at foods that, historically, had enormous social, commercial, political or cultural significance, like wheat or potatoes. We will look at archaeology, history, biology, chemistry, maybe a bit of brewing and baking, and even some agriculture. The moderators will give some of the presentations, but additional presentations by participants are encouraged.
