Description

Digital literacy is an essential skill in today’s online world. Every day we’re confronted with fake and biased news, misinformation, paid reviews and pseudoscience. Equally important are online privacy and the risks that come from the widespread harvesting of our personal data. This study group will reveal the many versions of truth that are out there and how to tell the good sense from the nonsense. We’ll look at what privacy means these days, and how to avoid scams and digital fraud. If there is sufficient demand, we can continue beyond the initial five weeks.
