Official Description

The Professional Development Certificate in Project Management program focuses on the knowledge, skills, tools, and strategies to manage projects of various types and scales in dynamic and evolving contexts. Emphasis is on technical, tactical, and soft skills, as well as managing shifting priorities and risks using innovative techniques and tools. Application of project management methodologies is facilitated through hands-on, community-based projects. The program is aligned with industry standards, sustainable project management practices, as well as the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). The program is offered online with synchronous and asynchronous course activities.

This program is offered in English and must be completed within 2 years.

Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must hold a Quebec CEGEP diploma (DEC, DCS, or equivalent of one year of full-time university studies (30 credits)); OR

  • Be at least 21 years of age in order to be admitted as a mature student.

Documents required:

  • A copy of your passport (photo ID page) OR Canadian Birth Certificate OR Permanent Resident Card OR Citizenship Card/Certificate.

AND

For applicants between the ages of 18 and 21:

  •  A copy of your transcript for your highest level of education, as well as a copy of your diploma (if applicable). Note that transcripts in languages other than English or French must be accompanied by an English or French translation provided by the institution issuing the transcript or by a certified translator.
