In-depth exploration of the complexity of food security in both developed and developing settings, including challenges in tackling global food security, analysis of the often competing needs of producers, retailers, and consumers, adoption of technological innovations to address challenges and conflicts, and potential for inter-sectoral project management for vulnerable communities.

30 hours in-class plus minimum 10 hours of assignments.
